When I plan for a newborn session, it usually involves me visiting local shops, and other stores, to gather some inspiration. This time around, I was fortunate to find a beautiful vintage candy tin to use for my upcoming session. Little did I know how fitting the tin was for the session. The label says "bittersweet chocolate drops", and this session was definitely a bit bitter (when dealing with the insane humidity), but mostly SWEET. Baby Malik is sweet to the very core. He just kept INSISTING that I take advantage of as much cuddle time as I could while I was with him, and I was happy to oblige. ;) He was quite a trooper, making it all the way through his own session, and then on through family portrait time. He was accompanied by two very bright and loving big brothers, and a VERY proud mommy and daddy. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend time with this family, in their beautiful home. Kate and Subhi, I am very happy for you and your new addition. I can't wait to share your images with you. :)
