Referral Incentives!!!!

Have you ever wished that you could earn commission on things that you recommend to others, just the same as if you were a sales person at a department store? Wouldn't that be nice. I know that there have been many things in my life that I could have racked up lots of commission on, but unfortunately that is not the way the world works..........most of the time.

Lucky for you, I have decided to try something new. I am now implementing Referral Incentives. And the best part is, you don't even have to be a previous customer of mine.

Here's how it works. When you refer a client to Carri Beth Photography, and they complete a session with me, you will receive a $35 credit toward the purchase of Desk Prints*.  If you are such an incredible sales person that you have referred 4 or more clients (who have paid for and completed their sessions**) to Carri Beth Photography, you will become a VIP Customer, and you will receive 20% off*** of your print purchases for the duration of your loyalty to Carri Beth Photography. Pretty exciting, right?  That means that a VIP customer could essentially receive a minimum of $140 in Desk Prints PLUS 20% off of any additional print purchases. AMAZING! It doesn't end there though. Each person that pays for and completes a session with me, and gives me the name and contact information of the person who referred them, will receive a Print Credit worth $35 to put toward the purchase of desk prints. The winter months are a bit restricting when it comes to on-location photography, but it is a GREAT time to crank up the heater and unwrap those squishy little babies for their photographic debut. I will be running this casting call for six weeks, so you must have your session booked and payed for by midnight on February 17, 2010. What if you are not due until after that date? As long as you are booked and payed for by the end date of this offer, you can enjoy the benefits that come along with it when you do have your baby.

Back in Michigan. Yaaaaay!

First off, I'd like to apologize for being absent for so long. As many of you know, my family moved to Florida earlier this year, and left so many good friends, family and clients behind. Well, after being away from all of our loved ones for a period of time, we decided that we didn't want to live our lives so far away from everyone, so we have moved back home. I am now living in Ortonville, Mi, and am serving clients in Genesee County and Northern Oakland County. We were keeping our return a surprise for many friends and family, so I have refrained from posting in order to make sure that I did not slip up before we surprised my Mom on Christmas Eve. Surprising everyone has been a lot of fun. I can't even express how excited and relieved I am to be back. It seems like we missed so much in such a short time. One very important event that we missed out on in our time away was our very good friends welcoming their, long awaited, first baby to this world. It was incredibly hard to not be here for such a special event, so of course their home was one of our first visits after our arrival. Their son, Ryder, has to be one of the most adorable baby boys I've ever laid eyes on. I had the privilege of photographing him before Christmas and he was just a dream to shoot. He is such a happy baby, and already, at just 4 months old, has so much personality. I'm so happy that I finally got to meet him, and see him getting love and squishes from his proud daddy. And I'm loving the beautiful "Mommy Glow" that he has brought to his mama's face. His presence in this world is just another reminder that miracles happen every day, and I am so excited to watch him grow and play along side my own babies. I am so happy to be back in Michigan, and I cannot wait to get back to photographing my favorite clients, and hopefully meeting many new ones.

I was lucky enough to get to spend some time with my youngest sister to shoot her senior pictures. She had her good friend with her, so there was definitely a fun energy to the whole session. She has grown into such a beautiful young woman. I hope she doesn't get mad at me for posting the "kissy-face" pic. Lol. And since she's my baby sis, she gets a few extra preview shots. This handsome little guy was so much fun.  He did all of the things that you'd expect a boy to do.....from climbing trees to rolling down hills, and just being goofy.  But let me tell you, he knew how to work it when he wanted to.  His mama loves to take pictures, and you can definitely tell that he has had practice in front of the camera.  He really made my job easy.  I hope mom, and the rest of the family enjoy this sneak peak.

Meet Mr. K.  He is an absolutely remarkable young man.  When he was just 6 months old, he was diagnosed with having a brain tumor, and he has been through the wringer for years after.  Despite all of the trials he has been forced to face at such a young age, he has persevered, and maintained a happy-go-lucky attitude.  He will be receiving his certificate of completion for high school and has many plans for the future.  He is such an inspiration, and an absolute pleasure to work with.  I hope you enjoy your preview, I will have the rest of your gallery ready soon.
