Happy Memorial Day | Proud American Newborn Photographer

On this weekend that precedes our patriotic holiday, I wanted to take a minute to give a shout out to all of our Armed Forces, past and present. As I sit comfortably on my deck, overlooking the lake, and smelling the sweet spring air, I realize how often I take for granted the fact that I am able to enjoy simple luxuries like that. I am forever grateful for the brave men and women who are serving, or have served, our country. And I have a special place in my heart for those who have given their lives for us. During this beautiful weekend, that informally signifies the beginning of summer for many, do not forget to take time to pay your respects to our fallen heroes.

Handsome little Cameron James! | Davisburg Newborn Photographer

Meet Cameron. He is a, very welcome, addition to our family. Sweet baby Cam is the first son of our dear friend/cousin, Sarah, and her husband Justin. Showing up a week early, this little guy is in a major rush to grow up already. He can pick his head up higher than any other newborn I've ever seen. He is the incredibly strong, and liked to dictate his poses for us. Lol. We did manage to keep him still for some really cute shots, and he entertained us by repeatedly "messing" on Daddy's clothes. But, after a few wardrobe changes, all was well and good. ;)

I am so glad that I had an opportunity to spend the day with you guys. I can't wait to finish the rest, but for now, I hope that you love your preview.
